My story

Meet Jersey! Jersey is about 3 or 4 years old and has a LOT of energy. He’d love a family who also has a lot of energy, just like him! Jersey is working with a trainer at Bed Bath and Biscuit, and the trainer is willing to work with any potential adopter to make sure Jersey is successful with his brand new family. Jersey gets up around 5 to go outside for about an hour before his breakfast. He has Purina One Dry Dog Food for both AM and PM and has been getting a wet pouch of Pedigree Choice Adult Wet Dog Food with dinner. He has Blue Buffalo Nudges Treats, Blue Buffalo Wilderness Trail Duck Biscuits Treats, Milk Bone Gravy Bones, and Nutro Crunchy Real Mixed Berries treats on rotation. He loves pig ears and bully sticks.Jersey is well behaved and is not destructive in his crate, but chews when bored, so it is best if there is no bedding or tearable/indigestable toys in his crate. He loves to be outside and bark at deer and chase squirrels up the trees in his foster mamas yard! He loves to play fetch and sometimes will bring the ball back to you, and he loves his rope toy! He has been tested at Bed Bath and Biscuit with female dogs smaller than him, and does well with their correction without issue, however his ability to play well with others depends on proper and gradual introductions. He is not very fond of dogs bigger than him. He interacts well with the senior personal dogs in his foster home through a crate or fence, but that’s limited as they aren’t tolerant of his high energy. He probably wouldn’t do well with cats because he chases squirrels up trees. He loves to be rubbed and kissed on, and needs to be able to expend his energy in a positive way.
