My story

UPDATE: LOLA IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION. NO FURTHER APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST Please, no calls/texts. Read the details on this listing and respectively apply on our website should you be interested in adopting this awesome dog! www.saveabowwow.com/rescue/adoption-form Lola is the sweetest girl. She loves love loves lounging and hanging out with her person. She is a great cuddler and genuinely enjoys all people as if she has known them her entire life. She is learning how to walk on a leash/harness at this time as she had no prior experience on leash going for walks. Lola is adored by her foster family who would keep her in a heart beat if they could. She is a special dog that is so loving. Lola came to rescue with horrific allergies that were out of control. She has been under a vets care and responded fantastic to treatment. She has no current medical needs however in the future, Lola may need Apoquel allergy medication if any flare ups arise. Lola does have separation anxiety and will whine if left alone for extended periods of time. Someone that works 8 hour work days away from the house would not be ideal for her placement as she gets attached to her person(s). (Who wouldn't want to be unseparated from her new family after having been abandoned/neglected her whole life and finally learning about what love is?). So we believe she would be best suited in a home all by herself as she doesn't particularly like other dogs since she wants all of her families attention all to herself :) Lola arrived completely not housetrained. She now uses potty pads and will go outside to do her business but currently lives in a condo so she will still have accidents from time to time because she doesn't have free access outdoors. We believe Lola was in a cage her whole life before rescue and we are trying to let her know, we will return and we love her. Were looking for a special person who will love Lola the way she deserved to have been loved all along. Now that she's not being used for breeding she can appreciate what this awesome life of an adopted dog has to offer. Lola is being fostered in Playa Vista, CA. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. NOTE: OUR RESCUE REQUIRES NEW OWNERS TO OBTAIN A PET INSURANCE POLICY ON ANY FRENCH BULLDOG WE ADOPT OUT TO ENSURE THEY WILL RECEIVE CARE SHOULD SOMETHING ARISE. WHILE THERE ARE NO CURRENT HEALTH CONCERNS, THIS IS PREVENTATIVE

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lola (PENDING ADOPTION), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
