If you'd like to meet George, please read his full profile. Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com George came to us as a non-neutered stray from a neighboring town. We will be honest, it took him a while to settle into our environment of many free roaming cats, a constantly changing room layout (new cats = new cages), and new human faces (both volunteers and visitors). This wasn't easy for him but he eventually settled down and has evolved greatly in the area of trust - just neutering him was helpful. He's generally quiet and is neat and clean with his litter box. He can still be a little spicy and doesn't like constant attention so that's important to note - however, in a home of his own with a full house to roam and explore and less stressors, he may be quite different. With this type of cat, we do not recommend they be in a home with children as children don't know how to read a cat's warning signs to stop petting please, or I really don't want to be picked up right now, etc. That all being said, we are searching for George's perfect match, one that would love to have him as the sole recipient of their affection. He's a special fella and is most certainly worthy and deserving of a home of his own so, if you've got a spot in your heart and home for one cat, and one cat only, please come meet George. (Note, George has not been introduced to dogs so we have no idea what his reaction to them would be.) George's DOB is approx. 11/23/2018
If you have any questions or would like to adopt George, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
