Polly

My story

Sweet Polly was living at a construction site for six months until one of the workers called Hope For Paws Rescue. They were able to catch her after no one else could! We have teamed up with Hope For Paws to help find Polly her forever home. Polly is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs 11 pounds. We think she may be mixed with Pekinese and maybe Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she may have some other stuff in there too!! She is good with other small dogs but is scared and unsure of big dogs and will bark at them. Polly seems to be okay with cats and is just curious of them. Polly would do best in a calm house where her people are not gone long hours. She would do best with another small young dog to play with and to build her confidence or where she can have regular play dates with another dog friend. Polly is housebroken and walks well on a leash but she does get scared of sudden noises. Polly is shy with new people and it takes time for her to warm up but she is a very sweet girl! We will not place her in a home with children under 10 years old or a busy household with lots of people coming and going.
