He's a very social dog who would do best in a home where he can spend quality time with his people and at least one other accepting medium - large dog. Oscar enjoys a short daily walk and lots of plush and chew toys. He is a bit of a juggernaut who doesn't know it, and he greets everyone he meets with love and a wagging tail. He's fully house trained and nondestructive when home with his foster's other dogs unkenneled. People in the home should be teens and older due to his slightly oblivious nature and high food drive. Oscar does have some mild allergies, he' well managed with diet and seasonal allergy medication but may occasionally have some flare ups. Oscar's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience class at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. We look for adopters with current and/or former pets to have a demonstrated history of this.
