My story

Walter! 13 Weeks | Husky Mix | Tan/White/Black Coat | ALMOST House trained | Perfect Second Dog | High Energy | Loves Children | Working on Leash Manners | No Cat tested | Hi there, I'm Walter! I'm about 13 week old. Male, husky/ shepherd mix! I'm cute as a button, both my looks and personality. I love walks, but I also like to come home and play my heart out. I am working hard on learning my name and potty training and am doing well but will need some more time and maturity before I can be left too long. I am crate trained when my foster parents go out, and for naps during the day to help me with the separation anxiety I developed as a puppy. I can still be quite loud in my crate so a home that doesn't mind the noise while I continue learning is a must! My foster family has a has a big kid that I absolutely adore and two other dogs that I have loved to model after. I can often not know the limits of everyone's tolerance for a crazy puppy and will need lots of adult correction to ensure I learn appropriate manners around my dog and human friends. I know as I continue to grow I will require a lot of exercise, guidance and structure so please only adopt me if this will suit your family life once I grow into my full husky self, so please do your research before applying for me! I am a sweet and outgoing little girl who would love to have a home that can continue to grow my confidence and boundaries with. I have loved absolutely everyone I have met so far and I can't wait to meet my new family and give them tons of smooches!!!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Walter, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
