Dalton

My story

Sweet Dalton is just a big ol' lap dog 🙂. He has been in a shelter for most of his life and until recently, has had no interaction with other dogs. Shelter staff from years ago labeled him as not good with dogs, though there was no socializing back then. We have recently attempted to socialize him with other dogs, but we haven’t been successful. What he is is a people dog. He loves to play ball and is so eager to please people. But perhaps his favorite activity is being doted on by the humans he loves. Dalton gives the best big bear hugs! He just needs a chance to show how awesome he is!Dalton does guard his resources such as food and toys so probably would do better in a home with older children and no other pets.
