My story

Hi there, I'm Cammie, a brown and white pit bull who is looking for a forever family. I'm 8 years old, 60 pounds, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. I'm also house, crate, and leash trained, and I know my basic manners. I'm a sweet, energetic, and playful girl who has been through a lot in my life. I've been let down multiple times by people who didn't care for me, and I've also battled cancer and lost a toe. But I'm a survivor, and I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life with someone who will love me and keep me safe. I love to run and play, and I have a lot of awesome energy. I also love to cuddle and get attention, and I can be a bit of a diva sometimes. I like other dogs, but I can be selective and spoiled. I prefer a submissive male dog who will let me be the boss. I have not been cat tested, but I can be if you are interested in me. I am great with kids who will play with me. I'm currently being fostered in Hampton, VA, but I can be transported to another state for the right home. I'm looking for a responsible and committed person who can give me a loving and secure environment. You must be 21 or older to apply for me.
