My story

Fergie, approx 6-7 yrs old, 16 lbs and a pug mix. Likes:  Being with her person and cuddling with them or another dog.   Giving kisses. Going for leisurely walks.  She enjoys car rides. She loves being with her people. Dislikes:  She does not like to go outside in the rain. Personality:  Fergie is shy around new people, but once she gets to know you, she will be your best friend. Temperament:  She is very sweet, friendly and loving. Energy Level:  Low to Medium Favorite Activities:   Cuddling with her person and giving kisses. Favorite treat:  Any Eating Schedule:  7-8 am and 4-5 pm Good with Cats, Dogs, and kids over 6?   Cats unknown.  Fergie gets along well with Dogs and Kids. Cats unknown. House Trained:   Yes Signals to go outside:  She goes to the sliding door. Crate trained?:  Yes Challenges:  just her timidness. Will need someone who understands this and won't push her, but will continue to built her confidence. Medical issues:  None What would be the best home for her:  Someone home more often than not (remember she loves being with her people), and she could be the only dog or have a furbaby sibling. Not good with: n/a Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1 1/2 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $100.00 {$75 if Senior} of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue. ADOPTION FEE's: Puppies under 6 months:  $199.00 Adults:  $150.00 Seniors (over 7 yrs):  $99.00 If you are interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application: https://form.jotform.com/193425528783165
