My story

Hi, my name is Hester! I am 6 years old and am looking for my very own place to settle down in. While at the shelter, I go to playgroups with other dogs and have decided I would prefer a home without female dogs. If your boy dog likes a wrestling partner, that is just my type of play.She’s quickly mastering leash training and impressing us with how fast she’s picking it up. At home, she’s the perfect companion—playful and sweet, she keeps herself entertained with toys without a single thing getting destroyed! When it`s time to relax, Hester loves to curl up and nap next to our other dog, adding a little extra warmth to the room. She`s truly a wonderful little pup!Hester has been described as eager to please and easily trainable! Hester loves people and wants nothing more than a family to give affection to and call her own.Hester has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. Hester is currently living in a foster home. If you are interested in her, email foster@kcpetproject.org!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
