My story

Kingsley was found by a friend of the rescue tied up to a tree and abandoned in a park. It was getting dark and it appeared no one was coming back for him so she took him home and tried to find his family for several weeks. No one ever claimed him. Kingsley is a 9.8 pound, 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier. He is friendly and very active and busy. He gets along with other dogs his size. He has been fine with cats. He has not been exposed to children in his foster home. He is crate trained and does not soil in his crate at night. He is house trained, but will try to mark inside. Now that he is neutered, that should help with that issue; however, some additional training/guidance in that area will likely be needed by his adopter. He is a friendly little guy and will make a great companion. He walks nicely on a leash. We have gotten Kingsley up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped so he is ready for a new family to love. Kingsley's adoption fee is $650 (that includes GROUND transport from Houston, TX to the Hartford, CT area). Transport is arranged upon completion of adoption paperwork. Kingsley is currently in his foster home in Sheridan, TX and will remain there until adopted.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kingsley, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
