My story

Meet Leslie, a gentle soul with a heart full of potential. * Leslie takes treats gently, stays close to her people, and melts into affection once she feels comfortable. * She’s respectful and interacts well with our resident senior dog.* She’s potty trained and good on her own in a crate when we’re done for work. She has started DAS heartworm therapy, and is currently on crate rest. We haven’t been able to see her play yet, but she does seem to have some fun playful energy! She’s also very treat motivated and learns commands quickly, and is already picking up ‘sit’ and ‘look.’ We’re also working on introducing her to our indoor cats, but she’s currently a little too excited around them and will do best with slow cat introductions or a cat free home.Leslie is calm, loving, and quietly affectionate — she’s just waiting for a permanent home where she can continue to blossom.
