My story

ABBY came in to our rescue in a group of 8 cats, all from the same home. All of them were well loved and are extremely affectionate, friendly, and outgoing. They are an incredible group! Sadly their owner has fallen ill and can no longer care for them. ABBY is especially bonded to her littermate MISTY. ABBY is up to date on all shots, already spayed, and litter box trained. DOB 09/07/13 If the animal you are interested in is part of a bonded pair, please only submit an application if you are considering adopting both. CONTACT INFO: - animalsindistressnj@gmail.com ADOPTION PROCESS & FEES - You must be 21 years or older to adopt. - There is an application & approval process. - Once approved, the adoption fee is $150. * If you adopt 2 cats or kittens to the same home, the adoption fee is $250. * We strongly believe that kittens do better in pairs and that bonded adult siblings who find themselves in a shelter should not be separated, so do offer this discount. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: - Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Aids (FIV) - Vaccinations (FVRCP/Distemper & Rabies) - Spay or neuter of the cat - Microchipping Note that we reserve the right to deny any application that may be unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come - first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals in our care.
