My story

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. LACY, her mom BRISTOL and her siblings (EDINGER, LA VETA and McFADDEN) were all living in a yard in Santa Ana, Ca. They were all named after the streets in Santa Ana. BRISTOL was actually the neighbor's cat. The man that initially saved all of them was feeding them outside. BRISTOL initially had her first litter and that's when EDINGER was born. We weren't told exactly what happened to his siblings. Then she had a second litter and that's when the neighbor decided to reach out for help. A local independent rescuer trapped mama cat and kittens. Then they called us to come get them. These poor guys were so skinny and dirty. Scared and unsocial. And when LACY came to our rescue, we discovered she was very social. LACY is pure snuggle. She loves sleeping in the bed. She "makes muffins" with her feet to find perfect spot. She has found toys and likes to play. She loves ear and belly rubs. LACY is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TORTISHELL. She is about 3 months old and is good with cats and dogs. She has never been around children. LACY is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue. MARCH 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any PETSMART. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application By Email 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home *******NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS******* The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application HAS to be requested and will be sent by email ONLY. Please include the pet's name in the SUBJECT LINE. Email us directly: WorkinWhiskers2020@hotmail.com If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Please email us requesting an application...if you're interested in adopting or scheduling a meet and greet. Please note that we are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. Also, we are an all VOLUNTEER rescue, meaning we are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So we do not do DISCOUNTS. LACY is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal dewormer Stronghold flea control Microchip If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask! Have a GREAT DAY!!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt LACY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
