My story

Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. Thank you for wanting to adopt! Hi! My name is Agave! I am a super sweet lady once I get to know you. I was saved by my rescue from a hoarding case in south texas. There were over 70 of us dogs in a teeny little house with 2 humans. When foster mom got me, I had never even seen grass before! Even though I was not exposed to much in my early days, I am very attached to my person. I am very shy when meeting new people. I would do best in a quiet home with a male owner. I am not a girls girl, and definitely prefer bro time with the dudes. I am a pretty red and white chihuahua mix. I am learning cool skills like how to walk on a leash, sleep in a crate and get on and off the furniture. Since everything is so new to me, I will need a patient hooman to call my own. I promise I am worth it! I did have substantial hair-loss all over my body when I first arrived to the rescue. With some TLC, my fur is growing in beautifully. Foster mom says I am one pretty girl.
