My story

Name: Salgu Age: 1Year old(2019.12.6) Sex: Female Spayed Size: Medium Weight: 10.5 kg Good with kids: 🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Good with adult female: 🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Good with adult male: 🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Good with other dogs: 🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Good with cat: unknown Energy level: 🎀🎀🎀🎀 Leash trained: 🎀🎀 House trained: 🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀 Salgu was born in a shelter called ‘Aerinwon’ in Korea where 1,200 other dogs live (now there are 1000 left). Since there are so many dogs, only social ones can be chosen to have an opportunity of an international adoption. Salgu was lucky to be found by one of the LCJ volunteers. Her rescue team sent her to foster home and she has been there for 2 months. Salgu is good with female,male, kids, and even strangers! She likes playing with her foster mom's son. Her favorite game is hide and seek. She is the seeker and the kid is the hider. She rubs herself on family and furniture like a cat. Her foster mom was surprised seeing how smart she is. She quickly learned “down”, “sit”, and “wait” (in Korean) and she remembers neighbors. She is an active and playful girl like any other pup. At the foster home, she kept asking the other dog to play with her and the other 5 yr old dog got tired quickly. The ideal place will be where she could be the only dog. She doesn’t shed much and has a shiny, soft coat. She is a quiet obedient. When the foster mom says ‘NO’, she stops immediately and shows her tummy. She will be a perfect family dog once she adapts into new environment. She is calm inside but active outside. She is leash trained but it is not perfectly done. She may chase after any wild animals or even birds sometimes. Please be careful when squirrels are around! Her adopting parent is highly recommended to use the waist leash on the walk. Salgu is coming to Vancouver on Jan 28thand the adopting parent has to come to the airport for pick up. Her adoption fee is $800 including tax, inspection fee for both airport and porter fee and tip. -We sent back the rescuer $600. -Tax, inspection fee, porter fee and tips are $55. -We support the flight volunteer $100 per dog as most of them change their ticket from 1 stop Air Canada to Direct Korean Air.
