Ruger

My story

Ruger is an incredibly handsome 4 year old purebred American Akita. He is friendly to new people, affectionate with those he knows, and likes to play tug-o-war! When it's time to sleep, Ruger carries his "baby" (stuffed animal) around and then snuggles up with it.  Before coming into rescue, Ruger lived in a home with kids, and another dog. We think he would be happiest being an only dog, and in a home with  Like most Akitas, Ruger will do best in a home without other dogs, or children under the age of 18.
