Rufus

My story

Here's Rufus! 😍😍😍 He's a friendly fella we took into rescue from a workplace. He showed up there as a stray and the workers tried to find his owner to no avail. He is a very sweet, gentle giant who loves to be an inside dog. He appears to be housetrained and loves, loves, loves being around people. He is crate trained and we are working on leash training. He will sit on command and listens well and is a big cuddle bug. He has done well with other dogs his size. He's a little too interested in cats and we believe he would likely give chase. He weighs about 70 pounds and is approximately 4 years old. He appears to be an American Bulldog mix. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped and is heartworm negative, so he is ready to be adopted! This big hunk deserves a family as awesome as he is! Rufus' adoption fee is $650 (that includes GROUND transport from Houston, TX to the Chicago, IL area). Transport is arranged to adopter upon finalization of adoption paperwork. Rufus is currently in his foster home in Sheridan, TX and will remain there until adopted.
