My story

Hello everyone, my name is Murzik! I am a very handsome man. I am 14 months old and I have super soft, shorthaired, light brown tabby fur. I am a super sweet boy and I come with a sister. My sister Musya! We are inseparable. We do everything together and we would be lost without one another. We are both on the shy side, but if you just give me a couple of days to adjust and fill those days with treats, I turn into the biggest lovebug you've ever met. I love to be around my people, soaking up all the love and attention possible. Pet me, cuddle me - I love it all. I also like to play and I will play fetch with you. My sister Musya, on the other hand, is a bit more shy than I am. She takes a couple of weeks to come out of her shell. But if you give her enough time, once she gets to know you, she will be your best friend too. In fact, she turns into super glue and will be by your side all night long, purring you to sleep. Musya loves to cuddle and to burrow under blankets. She spends every night curled up next to our foster mom, under the blankets, purring away. While she's not as outgoing as I am, she's just as much of a lovebug. We both use the litterbox like good kitties. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., come meet adoptable pets on the first Saturday of every month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2020: April 4, May 2, June 6, (no July event), August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7 and December 5. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
