Cyrus--Sweet HEART!

My story

Cyrus is an energetic Treeing Walker Coonhound that has all of the traits that are characteristic of the breed. He was found running loose as a stray in a neighborhood and his owner didn’t come forward. We think he might have been a hunting dog that got away from his owner. We have a better life planned for him and are hoping a hound lover who doesn’t hunt will give him just that! Cyrus has been very friendly with his other doggy friends but due to his hunting instincts, cats would not be a good fit. We would love a large fenced and secure yard for him to romp and play in. His age guess is about 3-4 years old. He just needs some basic manners and to be taught the joys of being an inside dog! We don’t feel that an apartment would be a good environment for him as hounds tend to be vocal and love to trot around a secure property doing the “hound thing”! As you can see in the last photo, if you look at Cyrus from a certain angle, he appears to have a HEART. Too cute! For an adoption application, EMAIL STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET.
