My story

Meet Luscia. This sweet, loyal girl is the definition of a steady companion. She’s house- and crate-trained, knows all the basic cues, and is one of those dogs who just *gets* her people. She’s tuned in and eager to please—whether that’s curling up on an approved piece of furniture (only if invited!), coming when called, heading to her crate, or sitting patiently for meals and treats.She’s also a total pro at weathering storms—literally. Thunder might spook her a bit, but give her a cozy crate, a good pillow fort, or your lap to lean on, and she’s just fine. Right now, she’s working on learning “shake,” so she’s still got a few tricks up her sleeve!Luscia is naturally protective but not overly vocal—she’ll give a heads-up bark if someone’s at your door, but once you give her the all-clear, she’s ready to play hostess. She enjoys a good perimeter check in the yard and has a nose for critter trails. A firm “leave it” usually does the trick… unless we’re talking about a squirrel throwing shade from a tree.She *loves* her walks and really lights up when she starts to trust you—that’s when the playful side comes out. Hide and seek, tug of war, nose boops... she’s got it all in her.Luscia would do best in a calm, adult-only home without other pets. She’s not asking for much—just a little love, a little routine, and a soft place to land.
