My story

Meet Juniper!Juniper is a sweet and spirited 4-year-old pup who’s ready to find a home where she can shine as the center of attention. She’s lived with children between the ages of 6 and 14 and was friendly and playful with them, though she can be a bit unsure with new faces at first. Once she knows you, her affectionate side shines through—she even knows how to sit like a pro! Juniper thrives best in a calm, predictable environment and would do well with a family that can help her build confidence and give her lots of love and patience. She would love to be the only pet in the home—no other dogs, cats, or small animals, please—as she prefers to have her space and belongings all to herself. Juniper has had some challenges in the past, including not wanting to share her food and toys with another animal and feeling worried when she is alone, but with the right support and structure, she can absolutely blossom. She’ll do best with secure fencing or leash walks, as she’s been known to be quite the determined explorer! This clever girl will benefit from plenty of enrichment and positive outlets for her energy, like chew toys and gentle training games. Juniper is looking for a family who will help her feel safe, loved, and understood—if that sounds like you, she can’t wait to meet you!Juniper is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Juniper, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
