Peanut

My story

Peanut is a 1 year old 9 pound Chihuahua mix. He is very affectionate, outgoing and spunky. He came to us from an outlying animal control after being picked up as a stray on the street with fleas. We cannot say enough aobut Peanut's personality. He is quiet, playful and oh, so loving. He was a favorite at animal control and a favorite at the vet office when he was neutered. It's hard to pass on a sweet face like his. As you can see in the third photo, Peanut has scars down his back. This was probably caused by using a cheap flea treatment that burned his skin. These scars are permanent. Peanut has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $300.00. We are a foster-home based organization located in Hayesville, North Carolina, with frequent trips to the Atlanta area for adoptions. The adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we will contact you to schedule a time for you to meet us.
