My story

Name: Ruby Breed: Lab Mix Approximate Age: 2 years DOB May 5, 2018 (guess) Approximate Weight: 43 lbs. Location: Middletown, Delaware Introducing Ruby….. Ruby came to us from North Carolina pregnant in May. She has since then had her puppies, and all have found a home and now it is Ruby’s turn. We believe she might be a lab/hound mix. Ruby is a sweet girl and is just looking for someone to love her. Ruby is a total love bug and wants to be around her people. She knows sit and wait and is a smart girl and can learn so much more. Ruby walks well on a leash using an Easy Walk harness. She seems to be house trained and is crate trained. Ruby gets along with the 3 other dogs in her foster home and loves playing with them running in the back yard. She also rides well in a car. Ruby unfortunately is Heartworm positive and started treatment on 7/30/20. At this point she can go to a foster to adopt and then finalize the adoption once her treatment is done, though you must live within a 30 minute drive to Middletown, DE, because that is where she needs to go for her vet appointments during her Heartworm treatment. Ruby is spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro-chipped If you are interested in Ruby, please fill out our application which can be found on our web site www.itavar.com. Once we get your application, we will call you to set up a meet n greet. You can also see more pictures on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ITAVAR/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ruby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
