DOB June 15, 2016. Jade is a pretty special cat. She's had at least one litter of kittens and judging by a frostbite scarred ear tip and a big scab on her head when she came into foster care, she has seen some tough times. Despite that, she is a purring, talkative girl who loves being with people, and loved indoor living! Jade's future is with someone who likes their cat sassy and opinionated. She is food motivated, so watch your plate! She loves to wake her foster people up in the morning with head butts and purrs, but also sometimes wants her space and will give little bites to show you she wants space. For this reason alone, she should probably have an adult-only family or one with older kids. In late April, Jade had seven kittens in a shed in Guelph! Her finders brought her to Toronto Cat Rescue and moved the family into their own nursery to grow. After about one week, we got word of an orphan kitten found in an industrial area, so Jade adopted an eighth kitten (who was named Batman)! After another few weeks, Jade had another mama cat, Ida, and her five kittens move into the home, and they were slowly introduced. When they got to meet up close, they quickly became buddies and raised their thirteen kittens together. Her foster home siblings include a medium/large dog who Jade is uncomfortable around and hisses at, a smaller dog she seems to like, and two cats who she likes as long as she gets to be boss. Jade was a good mama, but now it is her turn to be adopted into her forever home where she can be spoiled and loved (and love her humans right back!). Adopt this lovely brown tabby today. Jade is being fostered in Kitchener, Ontario.
