My story

**Meet Slim Shady:** Slim Shady, a beautiful Glen of Imaal Terrier, was rescued from a challenging hoarding situation and came to SAFE as a feral dog. Thanks to the dedicated care of a professional dog foster, he has made incredible progress in his socialization journey. While Slim has come a long way, he can still be timid at times and will require a patient, loving adopter who can give him the time he needs to fully blossom. His ideal adopter is an experienced dog owner with a calm demeanor and the commitment to continue his socialization work. Due to his background, Slim is not suited for a home with small children. Slim is currently on Fluconazole medication as part of his treatment for Valley Fever. With proper care and support, he has the potential to thrive and become a loyal and loving companion.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Slim Shady, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
