My story

Baby showed up in rough shape at someone's garage in Bryan. He would not open his eyes and the finder thought he might be blind. Turns out he had such a bad ear infection that caused nystagmus - his eyes to twitch uncontrollably. He also had an upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. And fleas. Plus the vet thinks might be around 8-10 years old. The good news is he tested negative for FeLV and FIV and his other bloodwork looks beautiful. He is neutered. and now is microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. He has had a dose of Bravecto Plus to take care of the fleas. His ears are better now but he may be prone to chronic ear infections. His eyes are also much improved but do still twitch some - the vet thinks it should get better with time but might not completely resolve. Baby needs a special home with someone wanting to spoil him and make sure he gets the vet care he needs. He likely would be a good companion for someone living alone and possibly for an older cat like himself. Rowdy kittens would probably be too much activity for him. He prefers to eat well and hang out with you. He has gorgeous seal-point coloring but a round face (with fat cheeks) like a British Shorthair, although we assume he was randomly bred as an outdoor cat (he showed up already neutered and ear-tipped). Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application to meet him at the College Station Petsmart. Our cats live in foster homes. Adoption fee $40.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Baby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
