My story
Amira is a sweet little old lady who just happens to be positive for FIV. This does not define her, and does not mean she can't live with other cats. Amira is a gentle loving soul who has been overlooked time and time again due to FIV. It is heart wrenching to have folks interested in her sweet nature, but then turn away once we tell them she has FIV. We urge you to research, and please come meet her. She is an absolute doll. When she is out and about we leave the faucet on for her at a slow drip- she loves it and can typically be found hanging out by the sink. The best place for her to thrive would be in a home- away from stressful shelter life. She deserves a quiet, safe place to land. Please give Amira more than a glance, she is such a good girl!
