My story

My name is BAKO and I'm a handsome 10 yr young M Blue Amstaff/Pitbull Terrier. I'm 66 lbs of PURE GREEK GOD! I was surrendered by my owner due to MOVING OVERSEAS. I was sad to see my owner move and leave me behind, but he was worried because I'm a senior that the flight would be too stressful for me as I've never been crated/contained.. but it's ok.. I'm glad to have stayed here as I'm ready to move forward to a new life adventure with new hoomans! I'm a very sweet, easy going, fun loving, happy go lucky guy. I like everyone I meet but I haven't met alot of dogs , so I'm a little socially ackward with other dogs. When I see them on my walks I get very excited to greet them and can be a little pushy but I've never gotten snarky or snappy.. so I could use some help in the dog socialization dept. I just need to hang out with more dogs so I can get used to them. I used to live with a cat so I'm fine with cats. I'm fine with young kids in passing but have never lived with any kids so I think older kids ages 7 yrs+ would be best. I'm in great shape/health for a senior and people can't believe my age because I'm lively, have medium energy and love to go for walks. My back legs can be a little cranky so it's best if I don't have to walk up too many stairs and a home in the suburbs with a yard would be ideal/best... but an apt with an elevator would be fine too. I'm SUCH AN EASY GOING SPECIAL guy and a TOTAL LOVE BUG!! I like to snuggle next to you on the couch or bed and I'm always up for a game of fetch inside or out! I'm JUST THE BEST!!! and an AMBASSADOR for MY BREED. I'm looking for that wonderful person/couple/family who will LOVE & APPRECIATE me for the rest of my golden years!!
