My story

Meet Smokey, beautiful Aussie mix boy approx. @ 35 lbs, approx. 1.5 yrs old. House broke , Crate trained. Loves people, good with cats and other dogs. Great at vet office, Good in public. Smart -knows some commands. Very Loving. Good in the car. Good with kids. Very nice family dog. Likes to play with toys. Thank you for considering a rescue dog from the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue of Illinois. Our adoption fee is $350 for adult dogs and $400 for puppies unless otherwise noted. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, certain vaccines, deworming (additional dewormings may be necessary), heartworm check, first month's heartworm prevention and microchip. The new owners will need to transfer the microchip registration information upon adoption. We take cashier's checks, cash or PayPal Donations for the adoption fee. NOTE: No personal checks of any kind will be accepted. If you donate via PayPal, an additional $11 will be added for fees taken out by PayPal. Cashier's check made payable to ACD Rescue of IL. We are a 501C3 non-for-profit rescue. All of us volunteer our time in addition to our full time jobs. Please allow up to 72 hours for all applications.
