My story

Gillian and Sally are a pair of 6-month-old "chiweenie" mix sisters (dachshund and chihuahua). They are about 10-12 lbs each and should not get very much larger (under 20 lbs full grown). They seem to be very bonded to each other so we feel it would be best for them to be adopted as a pair. Gillian and Sally came into the rescue as owner surrenders who were originally rescued from a high-kill shelter down south. They get along with other dogs, but take a little while to warm up to bigger dogs and new people; they are feisty little girls so we think they would probably chase cats. These girls are working on their crate training and housebreaking in the foster home and coming out of their shells more each day.They are spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready for a forever home that will keep them together.
