Captain

My story

Meet Captain!!! Captain is a very dapper 6-year old neutered pit bull mix. Captain was rescued by SCTW after his family lost their home. He now lives in a foster home with 3 other dogs while he waits to find his own forever family. Captain demonstrates basic commands such as sit, down and stay. He is extremely treat motivated and takes treats very softly. With a gentle leader he is great his short walks. He loves chew toys and will chase them but is not at all interested in balls. Captain is housetrained as has not had any accidents in the foster home. Captain can chill at home either in a crate or free in the home for up to 4 hours. Captain is a laid back, sometimes goofy, cuddly couch potato who needs little exercise. He likes to go on walks and run zoomies in the yard, but only in short spurts and then is back to cuddle with his people. He could do well with other dogs or as the only dog. Captain’s foster mom LOVES him and says he is a really great, sweet, loving dog! He is so ready for his forever home and family -- could it be with you?!
