Lancelot

My story

They call me Lancelot, but you can also call me Lance. My name Lancelot is very fitting for me because just like the knight who protected that famous table, I too am a protector. I am a grand, brave protector of…. KITTENS! I just love ALL the kittens. I’m totally cool with them climbing on me, stepping on me…whatever they want to do. I’m like a big ole daddy cat when it comes to kittens. I love the other cats too – older, younger, male, female. I like them all. Well, except maybe dominant male cats. And, I’m not really old – I’m only two! I’m a social guy and I’m not afraid to speak my mind. I love to have conversations with anyone who wants to chat. I just loving hanging out with all the people too. Being the typical cat that I am, I love to play with all the toys (feathers on sticks are one of my faves), but then I’m quite happy just to lounge the day away. If you want to start my purr engine, just give my cheeks a good scratch. Oh that feels soooo good. Food is also a very good thing for me. I love me some wet food! I’ve been known to mooch the other cats’ food, but hey, you snooze you lose! Turn your back on your food and it’s fair game. I was found on the street as a stray. Let me tell you, that’s not the life any cat wants to lead, so I was so happy when I was rescued. The rescue folks got me all fixed up (if you know what I mean), gave me my great name and now I’m ready to find my own forever home! I can tell you that I am going to be a great companion cat for anyone! Let’s recap – I’m friendly, social, chatty, like to play, love other cats, will never let food go to waste… need I say more?
