My story

This beautiful big puppy was an owner surrendered to a shelter in Houston TX. An owner surrender is the first on the list to be euthanized. We couldn't let that happen, so we brought her into our rescue. Her foster mom says that she is perfectly house trained, sleeps on a doggy bed next to her foster mom, loves toys, is great on the leash and likes car rides. We had a DNA test done, and she is 87% Great Pyrenees with the rest being a herding dog. She is approx 11 months old and 62 lbs as of August 2019 and could do with putting on some weight. The owner said that he was surrendering her because he had to leave her outside all of the time and he felt bad about doing that to her. She is just a big, playful puppy. She completed a 3 week board and train program at Rover Oaks in Houston, TX and she is now located in foster care in Rockfall, CT. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
