My story

**Courtesy Post** Noel is a stray dog I rescued at Christmas last year. I am no longer able to keep her or give her the attention she needs as I am expecting twins soon. Noel needs to be with a quiet, settled couple....possibly retired. Definitely, a home with no kids as she does not do well with kids because they scare her. Her low key personality makes her great for an RV or small apartment. I have already put a lot into her in 6 months and she has come a long way. She came to me as a found stray, malnourished, heartworm positive and had just had a litter (all were adopted out except her). I got her spayed and have been treating her the slow method for the heartworms. She has since begun to thrive and is a wonderful dog. I had planned to be her furever home. In her short time with me, she has overcome several fears. She is now loving and trusting. She is great with our other dog and our cat, plus walks well on the leash. This precious baby takes a while to warm up, but she will snuggle. She is a kind soul and has a wonderful and engaging personality. Sometimes when going outside to potty, she stands at the foot of the stairs looking at you until you bribe her with treats! Noel is approximately 6 years old.
