My story

IDGSR WELCOMES REGINA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!! PLEASE NOTE: If the dog you are interested in is online, he/she is still available, and it is not necessary to email to inquire. Regina is an approximately 3 - 4-year-old female German Shepherd who was rescued after 40 dogs were seized, due to horrific conditions, by Memphis Animal Service. She and the others were left in wire kennels with no access to food, water or human touch. They also had no heat or ac. Regina is now in a foster home receiving love and care to help her move forward in life. She loves toys, especially her glow in the dark ball. She & foster brother Duke (from the same case) play nonstop until they hear the sound of water releasing from the hose nozzle. Both are like two kids at the water park running thru the sprinkler. It's a beautiful site to witness the love they have for freedom. Regina is learning a few commands but will benefit from obedience training. She would prefer a home without small dogs or cats. As with most Shepherds, she wants to be with her people. She is a loyal, devoted companion. Will you be hers? If you are interested in adopting Regina, please apply by CLICKING ON THE ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE. PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered. Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog. $300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY) $250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT) $200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR) All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered. Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise. ***Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our four-legged friends*** Donations to help us care for all the dogs in our program are also greatly appreciated and may be made from our main petfinder page: http://IDGSR.petfinder.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Regina, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
