My story

If you are interested in PANDA or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here Please email the completed application to allison.woofriver@gmail.com Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached. PANDA is such a kind and gentle girl. After meeting her, you have zero chance of not falling in love! Her adorable underbite, deep soulful eyes and precious personality make her absolutely irresistible. She enjoys sun-bathing, walking around the neighborhood and soaking up affection. She is more than happy to lay next to you for hours while you are watching movies or just lounging around. She can initially be timid in new situations, but does really well after a few minutes. After 24 hours with PANDA, you have an endlessly loyal friend for life. She is good with other dogs and shares her foster home with another dog and some outside kitties. She does really well with the cats. PANDA rides nicely in the car and is well behaved in her crate while her foster mom is at work. This girl is one of those rare gentle souls that some people are never lucky to meet in their lifetime. Her forever family will be overjoyed with this sweet girl in their home. To see even more pictures of PANDA copy and paste the following link into your browser: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hce5tazfa1ey15a/AAC7c0ym7aWlo0KuOkH2OaJua?dl=0 PANDA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations. Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted. For an adoption application on PANDA click here Please email the completed application to allison.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience. All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport). Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff. Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding. Please LIKE Woof River on Facebook! Thank you for choosing rescue!!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PANDA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
