My story

This handsome dude is s transfer from another rescue who was unable to care for him. Bubba (along with his three siblings) has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. In cats, this condition is also called "Wobbly Cat Syndrome". Wobbly cats do just that, they wobble, but the degree of their wobbliness can vary. Bubba has a fairly mild wobble and it's really not a hindrance to him at all. He is a lover of a fella and wants to share that love with you. He is such a charmer! Bubba's DOB is Nov. 2017. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FELV negative and microchipped. Bubba's degree of CH in no way affects his ability to get around, jump, run, use the litter box, etc. He is a normal cat that does normal things - he just does them with a little wobble. Bubba gets along well with other cats; dogs are an unknown but we would recommend that if placed in a home with a dog(s), that it be with dogs who are indifferent to cats as we wouldn't want his little wiggle butt to be a temptation for a dog who chases. Also, we would recommend a home with older children; Bubba would do fine with kids of any age, but with his CH, we wouldn't want a young child to pick him up and then just drop him as that could cause him harm as his balance can be off sometimes. If you have questions about CH, please send us an inquiry - we'd love to give you the facts and introduce you to our sweet fella. A quick web search on CH will also give you lots of information. Our Bubba is one special guy and not just because he has CH, either! Come meet him today and see what we mean.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bubba, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
