My story

Hi - I'm Lola! I'm 10+ years young and *incredibly* sweet. I am so lucky that I was rescued by A4A and now I'm patiently waiting to find a loving forever home to call my own. A4A rescued me after I'd been abandoned at an animal shelter when my guardian went into assisted living and no family memers stepped up to care for me. I was terrified at the shelter and hated being in a cage. Thankfully A4A saved me! When rescued, A4A found that I had worn a harsh flea collar most of my life and it had left burn marks around my neck (I was so thankful to be out of that collar!). I also needed some dental work, but A4A had that taken care of too and now I'm in great health! I was front declawed prior to my rescue and I am now spayed, vetted and ready for adoption at A4A. I *LOVE* snuggling with people. I give hugs (really good hugs!). I prefer to sleep in bed with you. I love Temptations cat treats and a daily treat of canned/wet Friskies ground style food. I also love treats of cheese :-) I love to be held and carried around. I love burrowing in cozy blankets (and making "kitty biscuits"). I love cat nip and cat nip toys. I also love the wand/feather toy (Da Bird feather toy is so fun)! I am incredibly friendly and social. I do great with dogs and I am fine with another cat in the house. I can be chatty at times (it's so cute!) -- I like to meow "hello" often, when you first come home and sometimes chat back when you talk to me. I love looking out windows and having cozy places to nap. When I'm relaxed and comfortable, I often lay on my back with my paws and belly in the air...it's very cute! I also love being with my person/people -- I am very affectionate. I know that I am classified as "senior" feline - but please don't let that stop you from adopting me! I would really love to find a loving forever home to call my own. I have so much love to share! I love to play with my toys, love to snuggle and cuddle (and give hugs) and I am very friendly.
