My story

Meet the wine kittens! A pet Persian cat that was not spayed got outside and came back pregnant. Her kittens do not look Persian. They are Bordeaux (gray tabby short hair female), Cognac (gray short hair male), Merlot (brown tabby short hair female), Pinot (gray tabby short hair female), and Shiraz (gray short hair female). We are posting the kitten in advance of them being ready for adoption so as to find and pre-approve potential adopters. Our kittens are not be available for adoption until they reach about 2.5-3 pounds which happens at about 10-12 weeks. At this time, the kittens will undergo a spay and neuter operation. It can be done younger; however, we have found waiting a few extra weeks gives a better lifetime of health to the cat so the kitten has more time to develop physically. The extra weight is helpful too in coping with potential anesthesia side effects after surgery. Please be patient with us :) This is a kitten being fostered in a private home by our cat rescue. We are a rescue and not a shelter, so we do not have a facility. The kitten will not be available to meet until an adoption event at PetSmart in Temecula. The kitten is sterilized (spayed/ neutered), vaccinated, microchipped, Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) tested, and ready to go to a loving forever home! Adoption Fees are $95 for kittens. If you want to adopt a cat, fees are $50 or less depending on the animal. We hold regular weekend adoption events at PetSmart located at 32413 Temecula Parkway, Temecula, CA 92592. The first qualified person interested in an animal will be able to adopt the feline(s).
