My story

Hi, my name is Charlie and I came to Illinois on May 25th with my brothers and sisters from Kentucky. I’ve heard the people that brought me here say that we came from a kill shelter and now I’m in a rescue. All I know is that we are all together in a nice warm, dry home with lots of food and water and fun toys to play with. One by one, my litter mates would leave and never come back but everyone around us was happy and said soon it would be my turn to find my forever home. Now there’s only three of us left and while I like it here, I think I’d like to find my forever home too with a family of my own. I’m not sure why no one has picked me. I’m a good boy and love every person and other animal I meet. I’m doing well on this thing called house breaking and am also working on my manners. It sounds like fun to have a family.
