My story

Lyla is a BEAUTIFUL super soft, fluffy, friendly, cuddly, and busy girl! She’s a typical young kitten who loves to explore and play with her siblings. Anything on the floor is perceived to be a toy, and if it rolls, all the better! Lyla loves playing in and climbing on the mini-cat tree. And when she’s tired, she loves to be held and will cuddle in for a nap. Lyla was born in an Adopt-A-Pet foster home. Her mom is a super friendly calico (Lexi) and allowed her foster family to handle her at a very young age…so she LOVES his human friends! Lyla was introduced to cats in her foster home and was totally fine. She was not happy about being introduced to the friendly dogs but may be fine over time. Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt young kittens in pairs. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play and snuggle while you're not home. If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements. Starting 6/16/19, you can meet Lyla at her new foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd., 7 days a week during normal store hours. (www.wilmettepetcenter.com, 847-251-6750). Although she is so sweet you will want to take her home on the spot, you will first need to submit an application. Lyla’s ACTUAL date of birth is 4/28/19. Her adoption fee of $150.00 includes her vet exam, FVRCP vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing, routine deworming, microchip and spay.
