My story

Howdy! My name is Danny Zuko because, like my littermates Frenchie, Rizzo, and Kenickie, I was named after a character in the musical "Grease." (Danny Zuko was the greaser gang leader who was played by John Travolta.) I'm a very playful, handsome, sleek gray DSH/ Russian Blue mix fella with big jade-green eyes who was born in April 2019. I'm a devoted and loyal friend who loves nuzzles and snacks. While I may not want to be picked up, I love to be near my humans. I will follow them from room to room and then plop down at their feet or near their chair to watch them. Both Kenickie and I sleep (and play) in bed on their feet. I'm a cat's cat who plays hard and loves hard. I'm full of energy and love to chase and roughhouse with my brother Kenickie. When we've thoroughly exhausted ourselves, we snuggle up together for a mutual grooming session and then a little snooze. I've also got a curious streak and enjoy looking out the window at the birds and the squirrels. Kenickie and I complement each other very well. I have the more dominant personality, but Kenickie, while more reserved, has what it takes to keep up with a powerhouse like me! We call for each other throughout the house and never like to be far from one another. We're a beautiful pair that's a sight to behold as we relax or play. My feral mom Sandy had my litter in a neighborhood where a nice lady was feeding a lot of ferals. Her neighbors trapped Sandy and brought her and all of us inside to safety when we were six weeks old. Mama Sandy continued to nurse us and nurture us, and we were all young enough to be well socialized to people. Kittens who play together need to stay together, so I can only be adopted with Kenickie. I really do need a playmate because I get very lonely and vocal when I'm alone, and we keep each other on our toes running and playing. Two is more fun than one, and we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. By the way, I'm good with the resident geriatric cat but I haven't been around dogs or young children. Waste no time in arranging to meet me and Kenickie because I'm sure that there will be lots of families with older children who are interested in welcoming us into their home. Danny Zuko is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee with Kenickie is $175 for the bonded pair, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Danny Zuko, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him. To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, submit the online cat adoption application at https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Danny Zuko, energizer bunny, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
