My story

ERNIE Ernie is a 2 year old, 8 pound Dachshund and Chihuahua mix who was adopted from a rural shelter and surrendered to Lap Dog Rescue. Ernie loves people and thrives with attention. For a young dog, he's pretty content to sit on a lap and enjoy hanging out. He'd be a great only dog, and coexists with other dogs, though he can be jealous of his owners attention. Ernie is learning the dog door and to walk on a leash. His owner will need to be kind and patient and help Ernie learn to share attention with others.
