My story

ERNIE Ernie is a 2 year old, 8 pound Dachshund and Chihuahua mix who was adopted from a rural shelter and surrendered to Lap Dog Rescue. Ernie loves people and thrives with attention. For a young dog, he's pretty content to sit on a lap and enjoy hanging out. He'd be a great only dog, and coexists with other dogs, though he can be jealous of his owners attention. Ernie is learning the dog door and to walk on a leash. His owner will need to be kind and patient and help Ernie learn to share attention with others. If you would like to make Ernie part of your family, please fill out an application at www.lapdogrescue.org and include his name at the top. Adoption fee is $195

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ernie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
