AT THE SHELTER: Nellie is a beautiful female black Belgian Malinois mix - quite the elegant lady (see the pearl necklace?). She is available now at the City of Hayward animal shelter. This is what the shelter staff have posted on this lovely lady: - Nellie is a 2 yr old Kelpie/Malinois mix female that is looking for a home with older teens or adults. Nellie is a wallflower and is timid at first, but she will play with people and go out for walks and runs. She doesn't care to play with other dogs, but doesn't mind being around them. She would be a great companion to a home that is willing to expose her to new things slowly and take her to training to build up her confidence and give her new skills.
