Dory 8yr Adopted

My story

Dory is Adopted Dory is currently being fostered in Rossford Ohio, and her adoption donation/fee is $175 Dory is an 8 yr old female cockapoo, with only 3 legs. She came to our rescue after her owner surrendered her because he could no longer care for her. When she first came, she was a complete mess!! She had such bad Matt’s in her coat that the front leg was being strangled and had begun to rot away, she had gangrene, and that leg had to be amputated. It was a very sad situation, her owner was not caring for her at all, and she had been left this way for a long time before coming to rescue and getting the care she needed. Now that Dory is all vetted, and healed from her amputation surgery, she is doing really well!! She is going to make a wonderful companion for someone. Dory is very sweet and loving, she gets along well with other animals, and is housetrained. She does NOT like children, so she will need to go to an adult only home. We have also seen some toy/resource guarding with her, so she is NOT allowed to have toys around. Overall, this girl is a joy to have, and her foster has nothing but good things to say about her. She may only have 3 legs, but she gets around quite well, and it does not affect her ability to walk, she has adjusted very well. Dory is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
