My story

Honey resides at a rescue in Arkansas (Gail's Pets Second Chance) Hi there. My name is Honey. I'd like to tell you all about me! I am a female dog believed to be 1-1/2 years old as of mid May 2019 and a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. I weigh about 45 pounds. I was recently surrendered along with another dog to Gail's Pets. My owners travel a lot of time for their jobs and discovered it was just to hard to give us (me) the attention. So, we arrived at the rescue. I am making new friends here. There are a couple of heeler mix puppies in the pen next to me and I love giving them kisses through the fence. I also love the volunteers. Everybody is so nice and they take me for walks and rub my belly. I get along with everybody I meet, until it's dinner time. Unfortunately I love to guard the food bowl, so I would need to be the only dog in the house, or, I would need to be fed separately. I especially love playing with kids. I hope there is a family out there that is looking for a dog just like me. Honey resides at a rescue organization in Arkansas.
