My story

Tibetan Spaniel Mix Age: Approx 4-5 years Male, Neutered 13 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) * * * * PLEASE NOTE: We only do adoptions in the San Francisco Bay Area. NO EXCEPTIONS. Tiberius ("Tibbie") was dropped off at the Berkeley Animal Shelter by someone who “found him” and observed him having multiple seizures. The shelter observed one seizure, but there could have been more, unobserved. The shelter asked us to consider taking him as a “medical” rescue. In his “intake foster home” no seizures were observed, then when he was transferred to his regular foster home, the seizures returned. Our vet started him on medication and since then there have been no obvious seizures, but some occasional “staring into space” incidents. The current seizure medication is about $20 a month. At this time, no cause for the seizures has been determined. There are no signs of systemic disease, but a neurological work-up with an MRI or CT scan would need to be done to rule out a brain tumor. Otherwise, Tibbie is a sweet little guy who loves everyone, but can be very dominating with other dogs or cats. We recommend a home where he is the only pet. He is a very confident dog and needs to be in a home that is excellent at being in charge. If Tibbie rules the roost is not a good environment for the people or him. For more information about Tiberius, you can contact us: 510-459-0396 (cell / text) nobodysperfektdogs@comcast.net

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiberius ("Tibbie"), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
