My story
Anya came to the Goathouse after being pulled from Gaston County Anilmal shelter in February of 2018. She is shy and needs a patient and quiet home to help her come out of her shell and trust people.APPROX DOB: 1/11/2011If interested in adopting from the Goathouse Refuge, please plan to take the following steps required in our process:1. Come for a Visit: No appointment necessary - just drop by during our weekend visiting hours from 11am-3 PM Saturdays and Sundays.2. Complete our online application: Visit our website (click link above or go to www.goathouserefuge.org under the 'adopt' tab).3. Home Visit: All adoption applications will be reviewed by the refuge staff, and if the applicant seems to be a good fit for the cat(s) of interest, the refuge will contact the interested party to set up a home visit. Only after a representative of the refuge conducts a home visit then consider continuing with the adoption process.
