My story

Meet new ART dog Polly! Polly was recently scooped up by an ART volunteer. She was in the wrong home and her previous owner knew Polly was not happy. We are happy to help Polly find her #furever home. She’s a four year old Maltese mix and she’s looking for a home that understands the complex attitude of the diva that she truly is. Does she like the vet? Nope. Does she like the groomer? Nope. But she soon forgets her discomfort once it’s over. She will need a home committed to having her professionally groomed every six to eight weeks!! Thank goodness for professionals!! Like most little dogs she will demand her place in your bed, on your lap, and in your heart. She is doing great in her foster home with dogs of all sizes and cats. Because she’s so little (under eight pounds) and she’s feisty, we are looking for an adult home for Polly. Polly had a dental cleaning on Monday and lost eight teeth. Her adopter will agree to having this procedure repeated on a regular basis for the remainder of her life.
